In May I’m going to be doing an art program for teens at the library. I originally was supposed to do a whole series of short classes, but someone sort of usurped & ruined my original plans. Thus the series of classes has turned into my doing one class on character creation. As a result I’ve been working on creating new characters and making some character sheets. Here is one of them.
There is nothing quite like waking up in the morning, taking a nice hot shower, making yourself all prettified for the day and then attempting to shovel out your car for a slushy, icy mess of doom. After 20 minutes of shoveling and coaxing, my little blue truck is still stuck in its parking spot. The slush from the night before froze to my tires and poor ‘Chuck’ (my mother named him, not me) is still at a standstill with winter’s leavings. I’m currently waiting by my window for Triple AAA saviors to come fish him out and fairly annoyed.
To everyone who thinks snow is pretty, magical, and all that other rot-spend one winter in Michigan and see if your opinion changes. At least its not too cold out today, 21 degrees.
